Empowering Students
HeartEd Youth Zone has been created to provide after-school and summer programming for children living in affordable housing. This foundation seeks to provide academic, athletic, and artistic programming that empowers children with the skills to have productive lives.

We support schools in educating children in poverty. As a nation, only 3.2% of children living in persistent poverty finish college by age 25. (Urban Institute, 2015). Children living in poverty need access to opportunities and resources that will provide them the skills to be productive members of their communities.
To address this need, HeartEd Youth Zone provides educational services from 3pm to 8pm to enrich children beyond the normal 8am to 3pm school day.
